Standing Orders

You can pay your weekly or monthly rent by standing order which will save you time and ensures your rent is paid without you forgetting.

Tamil Housing cannot change the amount paid by standing order if your rent changes. It is your responsibility to change the standing order sum when your rent increases or decreases.

Standing order payments must be made in advance and most banks will allow weekly or monthly payments to suit your payment preference. Please make sure you have enough money in your account before the payments are due to go out to avoid additional fees or charges. We also advise you to check your account statements to ensure that your standing order payments are successfully completed. It may take up to 48 hours for our system to update any payments received.

To set up a standing order, you can arrange this online via internet banking, or you can send a standing order mandate form to your bank with details of your payment. Please contact your Housing Officer on 020 8493 7160 to request a standing order mandate form.
