Neil Ayre

CEO

Neil has worked in the social housing sector since 1993 in various management roles for housing associations. He became a freelance consultant in 2003 and subsequently worked on a variety of operational and strategic projects on behalf of Registered Providers (RPs), housing authorities and voluntary sector clients, including advising on housing association registrations and mergers.

Most recently, he has acted as Chief Executive for an RP in distress. Neil brings local operating knowledge and current experience of the strategic and operational management of small RPs to MTD Housing’s Board.

Mary Nirmalanayagam

Finance and Resources Manager and Deputy CEO

Mary is one of TCHA’s longstanding staff members. She started working for TCHA in 1985 as a finance officer. Her expertise in the field has allowed her to progress into becoming the Finance and Resources Manager for Tamil Housing and her hard ef-forts has also allowed her to recently be appointed as the Deputy CEO for TCHA. Mary is partly CIMA qualified.

Sainga Tony

Head of Housing and Operations

Before joining TCHA as the Head of Housing & Operations, Sainga studied accountancy. She has previously worked in a large local authority in a London borough, had a role in a BAME housing association and a Directorship at a race equality charity. Sainga brings over 17 years’ housing, local government, and charity experience with her and has spent many years developing strategies to combat the effects of various Government changes that disproportionately affect communities and has years of experience creating innovative and inclusive customer experiences, strategies, services, and digital propositions for diverse customer segments.
